How it works
A simple, transparent way to grow your money
Sign up
Register with your Ghana Card details. The administrator checks them and sends your UCU account number.
Save every month
Pay your monthly contribution. Each payment is recorded and receipted by email with your total savings.
Borrow when you need
Members borrow at low rates. Non-members can borrow too, with a UCU member as guarantor.
Share the dividend
Our year runs September to August. At the end of it, members receive their interest or dividend.
To keep the union strong for everyone, partial withdrawals are not allowed. Members are always free to exit.
Loans
Fair rates, clear terms
Interest is a flat rate on the amount you borrow. Every loan is supported by a UCU member as guarantor, and you always know the total before you apply.
